Week ending 20th June
This week has been very busy. Our new book this week has been 'Sharing a Shell'. The children have been learning about rock pools and the importance of sharing. The children have done really well sharing our toys with each other and have been busy creating their own rock pools.
We also had Sports Day on Wednesday. The children were brilliant out on the field and had lots of fun doing the different activities. Well done Parents for coming and joining in with your child/ren! It was a very hot day but everyone did so well!
Week ending 13th June
This week we have continued our key text 'Commotion in the Ocean'. The children continued making their amazing jellyfish at the creative table. We have had blue rice in the tuff tray for the children to play with the toy fish and shells. Outside we have been playing with bubbles and fishing in the water tray. Another fun and busy week at Nursery!
Week ending 6th June
We hope everyone had a lovely week off, the children have come back to Nursery excited to start our new topic. This half term we are learning all about 'Under the Sea' and our first book this week has been 'Commotion in the Ocean'. The children have been very excited to explore the new activities in the classroom. We have had blue sand for the children to mark make and write in. At the creative table has been very busy with the children making their own jellyfish. Outside the children made an amazing big wall mural of an under the sea scene. The children used paint rollers and large sponges to print on different types of sea creatures. It has been a very creative week!
